As a national first-class auction house, Xiling Auction presented its original sale of jade carvings by contemporary masters in 2009, which gained extraordinary accomplishments with 84% sold by lot. In the 2010 spring sale, Yu Jing’s A White Jade Figure of Guan Yin was sold for 2.688 million yuan. In the autumn sale, a gem-inlaid jade vase was the star of the sale with a price of 2.128 million yuan. In 2011, Wu Desheng’s Four Beauties of China was sold at 10.35 million yuan, the highest auction record for contemporary Chinese jade carvings.
